Indo-Dutch Business Relations: the role of the Indian Diaspora

Dutch investments into India amounts to EUR 5.6 bn.: India has invested under a billion Euros in the Netherlands recently.

Indian Diaspora is entrepreneurial and active in Dutch society but also in relation to business with India.


The Indian Diaspora (irrespective of their country of birth: Suriname, India or the Netherlands) could play an important role in Indo-Dutch business opportunities: but is this happening?


What issues and challenges are Diaspora entrepreneurs faced with?

The panel will also explore the role Indians can play in their country of adoption to nurture Diaspora relations in relation to India.


The panelists will present their views on areas of opportunities for the Indian Diaspora.

This session will be concluded in defining initial actions and/or programmes to stimulate more entrepreneurship.

The panel will consist of experienced entrepreneurs who will share their experience with the audience with the objective to achieve a productive and learning dialogue between the panel and the audience.
