H.E. Mr. Rajesh Nandan Prasad, Ambassador of India to The Netherlands, joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1980. He has served in the Indian Missions in Cairo, Jeddah, Riyadh, Jakarta, Geneva, Algiers (as Ambassador), Accra (as High Commissioner), and London (as Deputy High Commissioner). At Headquarters, he has headed the Central Europe and Europe West Divisions and served in the Multilateral Economic Relations Division and in the Office of the Minister of State for External Affairs.

He has a Masters Degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.
